1. Who you are contracting with

Hangar Pro ("the Service") is provided by Scott Sambrook ("we", "us", "Hangar Pro"), trading as Hangar Pro. By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or flying club, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation; if you are using it personally, you confirm you are of legal age to enter a contract.

2. What the Service does

Hangar Pro is a record-keeping and reminder tool for general aviation aircraft. It tracks maintenance items, life-limited parts, hours, logbook uploads, airworthiness directive candidates and squawks.

The Service is not a substitute for a certificated mechanic, an IA, or the aircraft's official maintenance records. Data derived from uploaded documents or public sources may be incomplete or wrong. You remain solely responsible for the airworthiness of your aircraft and for compliance with all applicable aviation regulations. Always verify against your official logbooks and your maintenance provider before acting.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the Service unlawfully or for fraud, spam or abuse;
• upload content you do not have the rights to, or that infringes anyone's intellectual property;
• interfere with the Service's security — no malware, probing, scraping, or circumventing technical limits or usage quotas;
• reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Service.

5. Automated document reading

Uploaded logbooks, invoices and estimates are processed by automated systems, including AI models, to extract dates, hours and work performed. Extracted results are proposals only — nothing changes your maintenance schedule until you approve it. Outputs may be inaccurate and must not be relied on without your own review. You confirm you have the right to upload the documents you provide.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Service, its software, documentation and branding. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan. You retain ownership of the content you upload, and grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to provide the Service. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, email support@hangar-pro.com and we will review and remove infringing material; repeat infringers lose access.

7. Payment, billing and subscriptions

Hangar Pro is offered with a 30-day free trial, after which a paid subscription is required for continued write access. Current pricing is shown on our pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our own refund policy also applies.

8. Service level

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change or be withdrawn as the product develops.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination you may export your data for 30 days, after which it may be deleted.

10. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where that exclusion is not permitted by law.

11. Indemnity

You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these terms.

12. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, and disputes are subject to the courts of that jurisdiction. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email.
